Due to a large scale of rising voice requesting a postponement of the Ski Trip, we staffs have come to the decision to do so in order to service more members who really want to go but cannot because of the coming up miterm week.

Here I sincerely apologize to those whom sign up already, you guys will get the priority to sign up for the next trip. Details of the postponed ski trip will be annouced shortly, but it probably will take on the last several weeks of March after Spring break.

The most important reason why we are not doing it next weekend is because our friendly club - CASA is hosting its awesome annual culture show next Saturday, and CSA would like to show its support to the Chinese community on campus. Please do go check them out if you have time since it sure is going to be a great show.

Hello everyone!

The annual CSA ski trip to Big Bear for all members is here again. To thank all of your support this past year, transportation, food, and lodgings are FREE for this 2 days and 1 night trip to Southern California’s favorite ski resort! Below are the details.

Place:               Big Bear

When:              2/24 and 2/25 (Saturday and Sunday)

Cost:                Free ($40 deposit, will be refunded to you on the day of event)

Deadline:         2/21 Wednesday by 12pm

To register, bring your fully refundable $40 deposit and your membership sticker to the following places. Remember, spaces are EXTREMELY LIMITED!

For those who are willing to drive and to help out to transport some of your fellow members to Big Bear, you will be given a $30 reimbursement for your gasoline expenses and also, a GURANTEED bed space for the night. For the rest, you may want to bring along blankets, pillows, or sleeping bags.

The half-day lift ticket for both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain costs $50 and equipment rentals cost about $15. This is to be paid by you. For those who wish to ski the entire day, it can be arranged as well. And of course, you do not have to ski in order to go! Come register too if you just want to hang out with some of your friends.

We will be leaving USC early Saturday morning in order to reach Big Bear by noon. The ski session will last from 1230pm – 430pm. After that, everyone will return to the cabin to enjoy dinner, games, and then drinks! Departing Big Bear at noon the next day, we will most likely be back on campus at 3pm on Sunday. Hope to see all of you there!
